yummy delicious and healthy variety rice - "karvepaku rice"... my granny never gets tired of telling the goodness of curry leaves... since many don't like eating curry leaves directly i always think of alternatives on how can this be added to the regular diet... my mom always makes podi out of curry leaves and stores it but i wanted to try something different and this is the recipe i learnt from one of my moms friend and tried it and loved it... hope you guys will also love it...

METHOD:
Ø Clean
and wash the rice and soak it for 20 mins. Now add required amount of water and
salt and cook the rice.
Ø Now
heat a tsp of oil in a kadai, add red chili’s and curry leaves and roast them
till crispy. Allow them to cool and grind it fine powder.
Ø Now
heat oil in kadai and temper red chili’s, mustard seeds, Bengal gram and black
gram and add the powdered curry leaves and salt and saute till the raw smell
disappears. Now add the cooked rice and mix thoroughly.
Serve it hot and enjoy your meal…J
