presenting you another innovative recipe that my grand mom taught me when i recently visited her in bangalore... she prepared this when i was there and i loved it so much that i wanted to cook it immediately after returning home... luckily my brother wanted me to prepare something different for his lunch on sunday and cooked this recipe... it turned out really well and it was also easy to cook and i just couldn't wait to share the recipe with you all... hope you all like it...

METHOD:
Ø Heat
oil in a kadai, add cloves, cinnamon stick, star anise, saute them and add
onions and fry till brown.
Ø Now add tomatoes, chili powder, turmeric powder and salt and cook till the tomatoes are cooked soft. Allow
it to cool and grind it roughly and keep aside.
Ø Heat
oil in a thick bottom kadai, add chicken and salt, stir it, cover it with a lid
and cook it on low flame. Once the chicken is half cooked, add pepper powder
and ginger garlic paste, stir it and cook the chicken until completely cooked.
Ø Now
add the onion paste, ½ cup water, coriander powder to the chicken, stir and
cook on medium flame until all the water evaporates (cover with lid and stir
periodically). Now
add curry leaves, keep the flame high and roast the chicken till dry and off
the gas.
Serve it hot and njoy your dish…
