from my childhood there is only one recipe followed at my home to prepare rasam... since i got bored of tasting the same for years now, i always wanted to try something different in preparing rasam and i got this awesome rasam recipe from one of my grandmom who visited us in chennai last year, from then on when ever i get a chance to prepare rasam i cook only this recipe... in love with this super tasty rasam...

METHOD:
Ø Grind
fresh coconut, garlic cloves, curry leaves, turmeric powder, salt, rasam powder
together with 2 tbsps. Water into a paste.
Ø Heat
oil in a vessel, temper mustard and cumin seeds and add tomatoes and cook till
soft. Now add the grounded paste and cook till the raw smell disappears.
Ø Now
extract the tamarind juice from the tamarind paste and add the tamarind juice
and required amount of water to adjust the taste to the masala. (Add salt if
required at this stage) Allow it to boil, off the flame and garnish it with
fresh coriander leaves.
Yummy tasty kobbari rasam is
ready to serve…
