METHOD:
Ø Grind
salt and green chili’s into a fine paste. Marinate chicken with curd and chili
paste for 1 – 2 hours or for longer time in refrigerator.
Ø Cook
the chicken on a low flame, until the chicken is cooked soft. Cover it with a
lid and stir it periodically. (do not add water, cook the chicken with the
water that comes out of it while cooking).
Ø Once
the chicken is cooked, allow it to cool a little and roll the chicken pieces in
peanut powder one by one and thread them into skewers. (I have used still rod
that is usually used for frying vada’s at home, you can use the wooden skewers
that are available in the market).
Ø Now
on the gas, and grill the chicken on medium flame until it turns golden brown. Remove
them from skewers and serve them with green chilli sauce.
Delicious, juicy chili chicken is
ready to serve…
SUGGESTIONS:
ü
You can also add 2 tbsps. vinegar to the chicken
instead of curd while marinating. This is added to make sure that the chicken
cooks soft and doesn’t turn hard.
ü
You can also brush oil on top of chicken before
grilling if desired.
ü
The more the chicken gets marinated, it will
cook soft and tastes great. Since I was running out of time I could marinate it
only for 2 hours.
