PEPPER PRAWNS...

a quick and easy to make prawns recipe... spicy and yummy...

PREP TIME: 20 MINS, COOKING TIME 15 MINS
INGREDIENTS:

PRAWNS
100 GRAMS
PEPPER POWDER
1 TBSPS.
SALT
TO TASTE
OIL
3 TBSPS.
FRESH CORIANDER
FOR GARNISH
GINGER GARLIC PASTE
½ TSP.

METHOD:
Ø  Clean the prawns, add salt and turmeric powder and cook them with the water that comes out of prawns while cooking, till all the water evaporates. (you can store the prawns cooked like this for longer time in freezer, and use it whenever required).

Note: I repeat this step in all my prawn recipes because I cook the prawns in this way once I get them home and store them in freezer. I use those stored prawns whenever required in small portions. So the quantity shown in this pictures differ from the quantity I actually use in particular recipes.

Ø  Heat oil in a kadai, sauté ginger garlic paste and add cooked prawns and fry them till brown and crispy. Now add pepper powder, stir it and off the gas. Transfer them into a bowl, garnish with fresh coriander and serve it hot.

SUGGESTIONS:

ü  You can also transfer prawns from the oil and then add pepper powder on them.

ü  Ginger garlic paste is also an optional.
