CRISPS...

kids always want something or the other to munch... and specially during holidays when they don't have much activities to do they would always want to have something yummy... this would be the best snack for the kids and trust me they will love it... and also tastes great with tea...

TIME TAKEN: LESS THAN 30 MINS.

INGREDIENTS:

MAIDA (ALL PURPOSE FLOUR)
1 CUP
AJWAIN
1 TSP
OIL
2 TBSPS.
SALT
TO TASTE
OIL
FOR DEEP FRY

METHOD:

Ø  Take maida in a bowl, add ajwain, salt and heat 2 tbsps oil and add it to the maida and mix everything well. Now add required amount of water and make it into soft dough.

Ø  Make the dough into two balls and on a flat surface, roll the dough into thin sheet and pork it with fork as shown in the pic below. Using a cutter or knife cut the sheet into desired shapes.

Ø  Heat oil for deep fry, drop the cut pieces into oil and fry them till brown and transfer them on to a strainer or absorbent paper.

Store it in an air tight container and Serve it with garam garam chai…

SUGGESTIONS:

ü  If you want the crisps spicy you can add chili powder to maida while making the dough.

ü  These crisps can be stored for 4 – 5 days in an air tight container.
