PAPPULA PODI 2

a simple and easy to prepare podi recipe that is very commonly found in the andhra kitchen's and on the tables of andhra cuisine restaurants...




TIME TAKEN: LESS THAN 5 MINS.

INGREDIENTS:

ROASTED DAL
1 CUP
RED CHILI’S
5 – 6
JEERA (CUMIN SEEDS)
1 TSP
GARLIC CLOVES
6
SALT
TO TASTE

METHOD:

 Ø  In a mixer grinder, add roasted dal, red chili’s and salt and grind it into fine powder. Now add cumin seeds, garlic cloves and grind them on speed one for 10 – 20 seconds.

 

Pappula podi is ready to serve with dosa, idly, etc…

SUGGESTIONS:

 ü  Can be stored in an air tight container for 15days – 1 month.


 ü  Serve it with ghee or oil as desired.
