punugulu... is a snack item taken along with garam garam tea and is famous in the krishna district of andhra pradesh... i have tasted this for the first time when my granny prepared this for us when we went to meet her in bangalore years ago and i loved it so much that i kept preparing this snack again n again when ever i found time wanted share the recipe with you all... n here it is... it turned out so well that i couldn't stop myself from eating them... hope you guys also like it...

INGREDIENTS:

METHOD:
Ø Wash
and soak the green gram for 2 hrs. Drain all the water from green gram, add
green chili’ s and salt and grind it into thick paste. (do not add water).
Ø Take
the green gram paste into a bowl, add rice flour, onions, fresh coriander and
mix everything well.
Ø Heat
oil in a kadai for deep fry, now add small portions of the mixture into oil and
fry them till golden brown. Transfer them on to absorbent paper.
Serve it hot with your favourite
chutney’s and garam garam chai…
