METHOD:
Ø In
a bowl, take maida, add salt and egg and mix well. Now add required amount of
water and make it into a soft dough and rest it for 15 – 20 mins.
Ø Heat
oil in a kadai, add onions and fry for a minute, add green chili’s and fry them
till brown. Add ginger garlic paste saute it and add tomato and cook till soft.
Ø Now
add the chicken, chili powder, salt and saute it for 5 mins on medium
flame. Add 1/4th cup water
cover it with a lid and cook it till the chicken is cooked softly.
Ø Soak
poppy seeds, cashews in 1/4th cup water for 30 mins and grind it
into fine paste. Once the chicken is cooked, add the cashew paste, coriander
powder, garam masala and cook it for 5 – 10 mins on a medium flame till the gravy becomes thick and of the
gas.
FOR MAKING THE ROLL:
Ø Make
small balls of the dough and roll it into chapathi’s on a flat surface. And flip
it onto a hot tawa and cook it on both sides.
Ø Now
break a egg on one side of the chapathi, sprinkle salt and pepper powder and
cook it and take it on to a plate.
Ø Apply
1 tsp green chili sauce on the chapathi, add 1 tbsp cooked chicken, add onions
on top, squeeze lemon drop on it and roll the chapathi.
Serve it hot with tomato sauce or you
can have it directly…
SUGGESTIONS:
ü If
you want your wrap to be crispy add 2 tsps of hot oil to the maida while making
dough.
ü Instead
of adding the whole egg to the wrap, you can also just brush the egg coating on
one side of the chapathi.
