MUTTON CURRY...

presenting you the most yummy recipe from my kitchen expert granny's special cook book... get ready to give your family a great treat and rock your taste buds... 




TIME TAKEN: 30 MINS, SERVES: 3 - 4
INGREDIENTS:

MUTTON
½ KG
ONIONS
2 MEDIUM (SLICED)
TOMATOES
2 MEDIUM (CHOPPED)
CURD
1/4TH CUP
GINGER GARLIC PASTE
1 ½ TBSP.
CHILI POWDER
2 TSPS
SALT
TO TASTE
TURMERIC POWDER
A PINCH
CORIANDER POWDER
1 TBSP
FRESH COCONUT PIECES
2 TBSPS.

METHOD:

 Ø   Wash the mutton cleanly and add curd, ginger garlic paste, salt, turmeric powder and chili powder and marinate the meat for 30 mins.


 Ø  Now heat oil in a pressure cooker, add onions and fry till light brown. Now add the marinated mutton and cook till the oil floats. Now add tomatoes, ½ cup water stir it and pressure cook the meat for 4 – 5 whistles.




 Ø  Grind the coconut pieces into fine paste. Once the pressure is released, open the lid, turn on the flame and add coconut paste and coriander powder, allow it boil and off the gas.



Serve it with hot rice and have a great meal…
