TOMATO BATH
tomato bath is a yummy break fast recipe that can be cooked easily and faster...
PREP. TIME: 20 MINS
INGREDIENTS:
ROASTED RAVA (SOOJI) : 1 CUP
WATER : 3 CUPS
WATER : 3 CUPS
GINGER : 1 inch (CRUSHED)
ONIONS : 1 (BIG)
TOMATO : 2 (BIG)
TURMERIC POWDER : 1/2 tsp
MUSTARD SEEDS : 1 tsp
BENGAL GRAM :1 tsp
BLACK GRAM : 1 tsp
CURRY LEAVES : 10
CHILI 'S (GREEN) : 3
SALT TO TASTE

- Heat oil in a kadai, temper mustard seeds, bengal gram, black grams, cashews and crushed ginger. now add onions, chili's, curry leaves and fry for 2 - 3 mins. now add chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, cook till tomatoes are smashed.
- Add salt to the water and boil it. add roasted rava to the cooked tomatoes, stir it for 2 - 3 mins. Add boiled hot water to it, stir continuously so that no lumps are formed.
- cook till rava gets colser, add 2 - 3 tbsp ghee (optional), cover it with a lid and cook for 5 mins on a low flame. open the lid stir it and serve it hot.
SUGGESTIONS
- see to that the rava is roasted properly else rava gets sticky and it spoils the texture of the dish.
- coriander leaves can be added at the end if desired.
- add only hot water to the roasted rava.
