SWEET CORN PIZZA

a simple home made pizza that will make you drool... :-) :-) 

 


INGREDIENTS

FOR DOUGH
FOR TOPPING
MAIDA: 250 GRAMS
PIZZA SAUCE: 2 tbsp
ACTIVE  DRY YEAST: 1 tbsp
ONION: ½
MILK: 50 ml
CAPSICUM: ½
WATER: ¼ CUP
TOMATO: ½
OLIVE OIL: 2 tbsp
SWEET CORN: ½ CUP
SALT: ½ tsp
MOZZARELLA CHEESE: TO COVER THE TOPPINGS
SUGAR: 1 tbsp


METHOD

  Ø  In a bowl, add olive oil, sugar, salt, add boiled water to it and mix well until the sugar and salt is dissolved. Add milk and yeast, mix till yeast is dissolved.

  Ø  Add maida to it and make it into soft dough. Cover the dough with a wet cloth rest it for 1 – 1 ½ hours. The dough will double in size. Again make it into soft dough.
    
 

  Ø  On a flat surface, sprinkle little flour and place the dough and spread it round using your hand or a rolling pin to ½ inch thickness. Fold the ends of the dough upwards.
 Ø  Spread pizza sauce on the dough , sprinkle little cheese and arrange the toppings as desired and cover the top with grated cheese



  Ø  Preheat the oven at 1800, apply butter to the pizza pan and transfer the pizza to it and bake it for 10 – 15 mins till the base turns golden brown.  


SUGGETIONS

 ü  Depending upon your desire you can add more cheese and veggies to your pizza.

 ü  You can also use any kind of cheese for topping, I have used mozzarella cheese.
