choco lava



PREP TIME: 10 MINS  COOKING TIME: 10 MINS
INGREDIENTS

DARK CHOCOLATE: 75 GRAMS
CASTER SUGAR (POWDERED SUGAR): 75 GRAMS
EGGS: 2
MAIDA: 50 GRAMS
BUTTER (UNSALTED): 50 GRAMS
VANILLA ESSENCE: 1 tsp

METHOD

Step 1: Melt dark chocolate and butter on a double boiler.

Step 2: Break the eggs in a bowl and beat them. Now add the powdered sugar and beat it finely with a hand mixer on speed 2 for 2 – 3 mins, add vanilla essence and mix it. Now add the melted chocolate to the above mix and mix it completely. Now add the maida and using a spatula mix it in one direction.

Step 3: Per heat the oven at 1800 for 10 mins. Pour the above mix into a baking tray and bake it for 7 - 10 mins.

Delicious choco lava cake is ready to serve.

SUGGETIONS
Do not overcook the cake as it makes the Cake texture hard.
Watch the cake while baking because it may not need whole 10 mins. It takes 7 – 10 mins.

To check if your cake is cooked just insert a tooth pick into it, if it comes out clean cake is baked.
