RASAM



PREP.TIME: 5 Mins COOKING TIME: 10 Mins
INGREDIENTS:

MUSTARD SEEDS          : 1 tsp
JEERA SEEDS                 : 1 tsp
GARLIC CLOVES             : 5
CURRY LEAVES              : 10 LEAVES
TOMATO                        : 1 LARGE
TAMARIND                    : GOOSEBERRY SIZE
RASAM POWDER          : 2 tsp
SALT                                : TO TASTE
CORIANDER LEAVES    : FOR GARNISH
OIL                                   : 2 tbsp

METHOD:
 Ø  Add a bit of salt and water to the tamarind and soak it.

  Ø  Heat oil in a pan and temper mustard seeds, jeera seeds, cuury leaves. Add smashed garlic cloves fry it, add chopped tomatoes and cook.

 
 Ø  Off the stove, add tamarind juice to it and mash it with your hand.  Add rasam powder, cook on high flame until boil. Off the stove and add coriander leaves.
