METHOD:
Ø
Clean wash the potatoes and pressure cook them
with 2 cups water for 3 whistles. (I have boiled them with peel, you can also
peel out the skin and boil them). once the pressure is released, Peel the skin of potatoes, mash the potatoes finely.
Ø
Heat oil in a kadai, temper mustard seeds, black
gram and Bengal gram, add onions fry for two mins. Add curry leaves and green
chilli’s and fry till light brown. Add tomatoes, and cook till soft. add turmeric powder and salt and stir it.
Ø
Add this potato mash and fry for 2 – 3 mins. Add
2 cups water, and allow to cook till boil. In a bowl mix gram flour with
1/4th cup water and add the mix to curry and stir it well without
lumps. Cook for two mins, off the gas.
Serve it hot with
puri’s or chapathi’s…
