CHICKEN PULUSU...

easy to cook chicken recipe for the beginner's and bachelor's...




TIME TAKEN: 30 MINS, SERVES: 4

INGREDIENTS:

CHICKEN
500 GRAMS
ONION
2 MEDIUM
GREEN CHILI’S
3
TOMATO
1 MEDIUM
GINGER GARLIC PASTE
2 tsp
CHILI POWDER
2 tsp
SALT
TO TASTE
TURMERIC POWDER
A PINCH
CORIANDER POWDER
1 tbsp
FRESH CORIANDER
FOR GARNISH

METHOD:

 Ø  Heat oil in a kadai, add chopped onions and chili’s and fry till light brown. Now add chopped tomatoes and cook till soft.

 


 Ø  Add ginger garlic paste, salt, chili powder, turmeric powder and fry till the raw smell disappears. Now add chicken and fry it for 5 – 10 mins on a medium flame.

 


 Ø  Add 2 - 3 cups water and cook till the chicken is soft and cooked. (If you fill the gravy is too watery cook it for more time on high flame until you get the desired consistency). Then add coriander powder cook for 5 mins, off the gas and garnish it with fresh coriander.

 


Tastes best with dosa, idly, etc.,
